Colin, a self-employed cabinet maker, started playing the ukulele in 2014 after hearing a ukulele duet playing at Amberly Chalk Pit Museum during a 1920s weekend. He had a few lessons to get started and then went along to some uke sessions. He joined WUG in January 2016 to improve his playing and learn by playing with others. He finds WUG a fun evening, it’s enjoyable playing with like-minded people, and heplays on his Cordoba tenor. His favourite song, at the moment is The Boxer, because he likes the lyrics and how it tells a story. When not ukeing Colin enjoys motorbike touring, playing badminton and tennis, walking, gardening and, like many WUGgers, bird watching!
