Meet the WUGgers

Sue

Sue, a retired housewife, started playing the ukulele by joining WUG in August 2015. Her impetus for starting was seeing WUG play at the Wadhurst Summer Fair and it looked fun and made her smile. She plays a Laka Soprano uke and would like to learn more strumming techniques and to change chords a bit quicker. Sue likes playing in WUG and enjoys all of the song, apart from ones that are in a foreign language (which at the moment is only La Bamba!). Her favourite song at the moment is Fisherman’s Blues. She thinks WUG is a great group to be in as everyone helps each other with tips to enjoy the playing and singing. When not playing the uke, Sue enjoys gardening, walking, nature and bird watching (which seems to be quite popular with WUGgers!) as well as holidays and spending time with her family.
